PRODUCT SAFETY (GPSR)
Last Updated: 2026-08-24
At Brzerk, product safety is a high priority. We comply with the EU General Product Safety Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/988, "GPSR") and work to ensure that products we place on the EU market are safe for consumers.
How we ensure product safety
- We collaborate with trusted suppliers and manufacturers and establish appropriate product safety requirements for materials, design, manufacturing, and intended use.
- We assess relevant safety risks, including reasonably foreseeable misuse, and maintain relevant technical documentation, risk assessments, and test information where applicable.
- We ensure that products are appropriately identified and include required labelling, warnings, safety information, and instructions for use where relevant.
- We consider applicable EU and national product safety requirements and update our safety procedures when necessary.
- We monitor product safety information and take appropriate corrective action if a product is found or suspected to be unsafe, including warnings, withdrawal from sale, or recalls where required.
Traceability & required product information
We work to ensure that products can be appropriately identified and traced in accordance with applicable GPSR requirements. Where applicable, products, packaging, or accompanying documentation may include:
- Product identification, such as the product name, type, model, batch, serial number, or other relevant identifier.
- Manufacturer identification and contact information where required.
- Safety information, warnings, and instructions necessary for the safe use of the product.
- Information identifying the relevant responsible economic operator established in the European Union, where required.
For online sales and other distance selling, we aim to provide the product information required by applicable law on the relevant product page or in connection with the product listing. This may include product identification, manufacturer or responsible economic operator information, and relevant warnings or safety information.
Responsible economic operator in the EU
Where GPSR requires a responsible economic operator established in the European Union, the relevant economic operator will depend on the product and its supply chain. This may be the EU manufacturer, importer, authorised representative, or another economic operator designated in accordance with applicable law.
For products for which Brzerk is the relevant responsible economic operator, our contact details are:
- Name: Brzerk
- Address: Gyllenkrooksgatan 3, Gothenburg, Sweden
- Email: Brzerk Support
Incidents, dangerous products, and cooperation with authorities
If we become aware that a product may be dangerous, or if we receive information about an incident or accident related to a product's safety, we will investigate the matter promptly and take appropriate corrective action.
Where required by applicable law, we will notify the relevant authorities, cooperate with market surveillance authorities, and take other measures necessary to protect consumers.
What to do if you have safety concerns about a product
If you have any questions about the safety of a product, believe that a product may be dangerous, or want to report a safety-related incident or accident, please contact us as soon as possible:

Product recalls & safety warnings
We actively work to identify and address product safety issues. If a product recall, safety warning, or other corrective action is required, we will provide relevant information through appropriate channels and, where applicable, directly notify affected customers.
Where a recall or other corrective action is required by applicable law, we will provide the remedy required by law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, withdrawal of the product, reimbursement, or another appropriate remedy, together with instructions on what affected consumers should do.
Information about certain dangerous non-food products in the European Union may also be made available to the public through the EU Safety Gate system.
Thank you for shopping safely with us.
